PhenoVue Fluor 400LS - Phalloidin is a long Stokes shift fluorescent dye conjugated bicyclic peptide which binds specifically to F-actin and stains the actin cytoskeleton.
This dye exhibits bright orange fluorescence and can be easily multiplexed for imaging and high-content screening applications. Additionally, it is validated on Revvity's HCS instruments such as Operetta® CLS™ and Opera Phenix® Plus.
PhenoVue Fluor 400LS - Phalloidin has a maximum excitation wavelength of 395 nm and a maximum emission wavelength of 585 nm.
Fluorescent Phalloidin derivatives have been extensively used for monitoring actin expression and dynamics of the cytoskeleton network. The study of actin cytoskeleton regulation is of interest in the context of several pathophysiological processes such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases as well as fibrosis and vascular diseases.
PhenoVue Fluor 400LS - Phalloidin can be used to visualize actin filaments in indirect immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry as well as high-content analysis and screening applications. Its unique photophysical property enables extended multiplexing capability by adding a fifth color while ensuring no spectral overlap, high brightness, as well as photostability.
